WHAT TO EXPECT
At Ascension Lutheran Church, you'll find a casual atmosphere, with a welcoming environment. If it is your first time visiting, the following information may help you feel more comfortable. If you have any question at all, feel free to contact us.
Saturday Worship Service: 5:00 p.m.
Sunday Worship Service: 10:45 a.m.
Adult Sunday School: 9:30 a.m.
Children's Sunday School: 9:30 a.m. (during school year)
Confirmation Class: 9:30 a.m. (during school year)
Teen Hour: 9:30 a.m. (during school year)
You can enter the church from either of the red doors. There is one located at the front of the church and one located at the rear parking area.
Come as you are! Our congregation has a mix of traditional church attire, casual dress, and somewhere in between.
Ascension provides a children's nursery during Sunday worship service. It is located to the right of the sanctuary. We also have Sunday School and Teen Hour from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. before Sunday worship service during the school year. All are welcome.
Ascension practices eucharistic hospitality. All who seek God's presence are welcomed to communion when visiting our church.
Parking is available at the rear of the church. There is a circular drive at the front entrance for dropping off.
Ascension offers handicap parking at the rear church entrance. Those needing assistance can be dropped off at the circular drive entrance and ushers will be happy to assist you. Handicap accessible restrooms are located at the rear of the building near Fellowship Hall. We also offer handicap seating in our Sanctuary and a Communion Assistant will bring communion to you. Please feel free to ask our friendly ushers for any assistance you may need.
